Welcome to Von Frieden German Shepherds! We are a small breeder of German
line Shepherds located in East Texas. Most of our bloodlines are West German show & working lines. Our goal at Von Frieden
is to produce an all around dog that will make an excellent family companion, as well as working prospect. Our first goal
is to produce an excellent temperament, second is excellent health, & third is looks. An excellent temperament equals
a balance between drive, a desire to please, & saneness which produces a dog that will work but can also be brought home
to your family & made to be an excellent pet. Health is carefully monitored in our breeding lines as we
check for hip & elbow dysplasia via OFA & only breed solid healthy bloodlines. All our breeding lines are
European & are out of many titled & proven German bred Shepherds. Enjoy the site & feel
